Description: Manufacture and supply of steel masts and stands for the South African Weather Service.

Special Conditions: Verification of correctness of manufactured products delivered. SAWS shall, on the day of delivery, do a visual inspection of the items as well as verification of the quantities delivered. SAWS will, withing 3 working days from date of delivery, perform a physical assembly of the components to verify that the top, middle and bottom sections of the mast fit into each other. In the event where sections of the masts are not compatible with other sections of the masts, the bidder will be notified within 4 days of delivery to collect the faulty sections for correction. Incorrect sections must be collected and corrected / replaced by the bidder within 15 days of notification.
